Almanac Beer Co. Nectarine Cobbler

Almanac Beer Co.’s new Nectarine Cobbler is packed with fruit flavor, so we found it only fitting that a larger than life nectarine should take center stage in our latest label design for the brewery. Almanac prides itself on using fresh produce from local farmers so we were inspired to create an Almanac-centric farm where agriculture and brewing come together. Nectarine Cobbler is a sour blonde ale aged in oak barrels with nectarines, peaches, and spices.

Nectarine Cobbler is now available at the Almanac Taproom in San Francisco, the new Almanac Brewery in Alameda, and available throughout the country wherever finer beers are sold.

From Almanac:

“Nectarine Cobbler is our version of dessert in a glass. We started with yellow nectarines from Blossom Bluff Orchards, grown in high-summer along the banks of King’s River in California’s Central Valley. Four pounds of juicy stone fruit was added to each gallon of sour blonde ale and aged in oak barrels. We spiced the blend with cinnamon, ginger, coriander, and vanilla bean to recall the aroma of a freshly baked nectarine cobbler resting on the windowsill. Pair this autumn delight with mom’s baked desserts, Indian curries, and holiday gatherings.”
