DKNG + Adobe MAX Collaborative Poster

We’ll be creating a limited edition poster that our friends at Mama’s Sauce will be screenprinting live at Adobe MAX in October, and we want you to collaborate with us using Adobe Shape CC. We’ll be using some of the contributed artwork in a final poster design with the theme of “What inspires you to create?”

Visit the Adobe website for complete entry instructions. Mama’s Sauce will print a limited edition of 3,500 of these posters which will be available at Adobe MAX on October 5th, or shipped directly to you if you’re one of the first 100 people to submit a shape. In fact, we’ll be live printing one of the colors onsite at MAX, so if you’re attending, you can print your own copy on the spot!

The Iron Giant Mondo Art Print

Last month our Iron Giant poster premiered at the first ever MondoCon in Austin, Texas. We now have our own copies of the print available for sale in the DKNG Store. The poster features one of our favorite scenes in the movie when the giant first discovers that he can fly, taking Hogarth along for the ride as his mother looks on. The poster is an 18” x 24” three color screen print with metallic ink on Cougar White paper. Check out a few closeup images of the print below as well as our original sketch.

Robot Art Print

New to the DKNG store, “Robot” is an 18” x 24” three color art print with a limited edition of 200 on French Speckletone Madero Beach paper. This music-fueled robot will make the perfect addition to children’s nurseries and recording studios alike.

Check out the original Primus blog post for some additional information on this design including a process video showing the behind the scenes creation of the poster. Below you’ll find close up photos of the prints, which are now available in the DKNG store while supplies last.

We’re excited to have created our first poster for Primus, which is part of an annual print series with a ton of great designers involved. Our poster for the band's May 12, Birmingham, Alabama show features a robot fueled by music in the process of consuming the band’s instruments including Les Claypool’s signature bass guitar.

The poster is a three color screen print with a regular edition size of 200 on French Speckletone Starch Mint paper and a super limited variant edition of 50 on French Pop-Tone Pink Lemonade. Check out our poster sketch, close up photos of the finished prints, and a brand new process video below. Both editions go on sale in the DKNG store on May 13 at a random time.

Stay tuned for an art print variant to be released in the near future.
