Radiohead Berkeley, CA Poster

One of our favorite bands in the world, Radiohead, recently played two nights of shows at the iconic Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA, and we were thrilled to create the gig poster for the run. We were inspired by the band’s recent abstract aesthetic as well as the lush setting of the Greek Theatre on UC Berkeley’s campus, and came up with a composition printed on three different paper colors to add some variety to the print edition.

The poster is an 18” x 24” three color screen print with numbered artist editions of 20 on each of three different papers - French Pop-Tone Lemon Drop, French Pop-Tone Red Hot, and Gmund Matt 34. The posters also feature a metallic silver ink which you can check out in close up photos of the prints below, along with our initial design exploration.

Alabama Shakes Berkeley Poster

This weekend, Alabama Shakes played to a sold out crowd at Berkeley, California’s Greek Theatre. We created the poster for the show which was inspired by the band’s current monochromatic aesthetic and dreamy lyrics. The poster is an 18” x 24” one color screen print on French Pop-Tone Black Licorice. The poster features metallic bronze ink which can be seen in the closeup photos below, as well as our initial concept sketch. You can now purchase the gig poster in the DKNG Store. This poster will also be released as an art print in the coming months with a new metallic ink color scheme.

Dave Matthews Band at Berkeley’s Greek Theatre

It’s not too often that Dave Matthews Band visits our home state of California, so we’re excited to release our latest poster for the band for their show at the historic Greek Theatre, in Berkeley, CA, on August 22. Given the amount of road the band covers, we thought a custom DMB motorcycle in a shop surrounded by tools and music gear would be a fitting image.

The poster is a four-color screen print on Cougar Natural paper. A limited AP edition of 60 is now available in the DKNG store. Check out a few closeup images of the poster below as well as our original sketch. Just a heads up, we will be releasing an art print version of the poster in the coming months.
