A giant of the jazz world and genre-bending pianist and composer, Herbie Hancock, just performed at ACL Live in Austin, TX, and we were honored to create a poster for the show. We were inspired by the intergalactic vibe of Herbie’s early work, as well as the setting of the venue in Texas hill country.
The poster is a four-color 18” x 24” screen print on 100 lb. Classic Crest Cream paper, with a limited edition of 300 prints. Check out our initial sketch of the poster below, along with close-up photos of the finished prints, as well as a video documenting our process of designing the poster. The Herbie Hancock ACL Live poster is now available in the DKNG Store.

Austin, TX is one of our homes away from home, and for this year’s SXSW we created a new art print paying homage to one of our favorite cities, and the vintage travel postcards that are often used to represent it. Greetings from Austin is a 14” x 11" three color screen print on French Kraft-tone Index Off-White 100lb paper, and features a metallic gold ink which you can check out in the photos of the finished print below. Greetings from Austin is now available in the DKNG store.
Close Up Shots
This year’s South by Southwest Music, Film, and Interactive festival just wrapped up in Austin, Texas, and we were honored to create the official festival poster for 2015. We were inspired by many of the icons we have come to associate with Austin including the many tour buses that roll through town for SXSW, Texas barbecue, and of course the Congress Avenue Bridge bats.
The poster is a four color screen print on French Speckletone Madero Beach paper with an edition size of 300 prints. A small number of remaining prints are available in the DKNG Store. Check out our initial sketch below as well as closeup photos of the finished print.
