The Godfather 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Posters

After partnering with AMC Theatres on the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, we’re excited to announce two new prints celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the wide release of The Godfather on March 24, 1972.

The first print titled “Aftermath”, was inspired by one of the most pivotal moments of the film where Don Corleone is ambushed while shopping at a roadside fruit stand. The print depicts Corleone’s classic Cadillac riddled with bullet holes as oranges spill across the pavement. Our artist edition of the print is limited to 300 copies signed by DKNG. The print is an 18” x 24” three-color screen print on brushed metallic foil for a super shimmery finish to the car’s chrome details.

The second print titled “Knight” is a more symbolic approach to the themes of the film with the moves of the Corleones and rival families akin to those of a chess match, including the infamous appearance of a thoroughbred horse's head. The blood being spilled also takes the form of Vito Corleone’s iconic lapel rose, and keen observers may also spot the shape of Italy’s boot hidden in the design. Our artist edition of the Knight print is an 18” x 24” two-color screen print on French Kraft-Tone Index Off-white paper with a signed and numbered edition of 300.

Both Godfather posters are now available in the DKNG store while supplies last. Check out our color sketches as well as close-up photos of the finished prints below.
