I just discovered the incredible Japanese illustrator Shusei Nagaoka. His work ranges from album covers to movie posters to magazine graphics, all made in the 1970’s and 80’s. I hope to someday have the patience to reach this quality of rendering and detail. Below is a sample of his work.

Check out GrooveSession, an out of this world jam band from the Inland Empire. These HQ videos are from the Claremont Forum where they played an instrumental version of The Beatles’ “She’s So Heavy (I Want You)” and an original called “Chillin on Benson.” Enjoy.
