The Dark Knight Tumbler Poster
2014 marked the 75th Anniversary of Batman, and we were thrilled to create an official poster for Mondo and DC Comics to commemorate a more recent addition to the Batman universe: the Tumbler. Despite its military appearance, the new incarnation of the Batmobile actually has its roots in the 1950s television version of the Batmobile, according to Christopher Nolan and production designer Nathan Crowley. The two vehicles share similar features including tail fins and a rear jet engine. The Tumbler in the print is at home in the Dark Knight’s ultra-modern Batcave.
The Tumbler is a 24” x 18” two color screen print on French Speckletone Madero Beach paper and is available in a super limited artist edition of 50 posters.
