This past friday I celebrated my birthday by inviting my local friends to a BBQ at our home office. I was so excited to see how creative and generous our guests were with the amount of food, drinks and gifts they brought. Although the theme of the party was never officially established as being "Mexican", some of the many gifts included home made ceviche (thank you Jules), chips and beans (thank you Rosie), a huge Sponge Bob Piñata filled with candy, toys and mini tequilas, (wow, thank YOU Colin and Katie), and very large amount of Pacifico (you know who you are). But I would have to say one of the most creative additions to the mix was the Mariachi cupcakes made by my very talented friend Whitney. She recently wrote a pretty cool blog post on the creation of the cupcakes. Check it out here.
