My birthday cupcakes

Posted by Dan // August 23rd, 2010

This past friday I celebrated my birthday by inviting my local friends to a BBQ at our home office. I was so excited to see how creative and generous our guests were with the amount of food, drinks and gifts they brought. Although the theme of the party was never officially established as being “Mexican”, some of the many… Continue reading »

COME IN! A Spatial Intervention

Posted by Dan // August 16th, 2010

For the past month DKNG has been preparing their very first installation piece for a show at the A+D Museum in Los Angeles. “COME IN! A Spatial Intervention” is the brainchild of local Venice artist Ashkahn. The idea behind the show was to showcase some of LA’s finest up and coming artists by allowing them to use… Continue reading »

Tim MacPherson creative photography

Posted by Dan // April 29th, 2010

Here are some very imaginative shots by photographer Tim MacPherson. When I came across them I instantly became nostalgic and missed the days as a kid when I would make forts out of chairs and sheets with my little sister. These shots take that notion to a whole new level. See larger versions of the photos at Designaside.com

Awesome Day: Flatstock @ SXSW

Posted by Dan // April 28th, 2010

One great, somewhat under-publicized facet of SXSW is Flatstock an exhibition organized by the American Poster Institute where designers of concert posters display and sell their work. Flatstock proves dizzying: the sheer talent involved rivals that of the bands on the posters themselves. Kspace took some time to meet some of the artists and check out their latest work. –… Continue reading »

Star Wars Religious Art

Posted by Dan // April 21st, 2010

I came across these while browsing FFFFOUND.com. What can I say, I’m a sucker for any artistic use of a Storm Trooper image. Check out more here.
