Teaching with Skillshare

March 25th, 2013 // Posted by Dan in Blog, Design, DKNG News, Illustration, Inspiration, Poster, Process

Last month, we had the pleasure of teaching an online class on rock poster design through  It was a first for us so we didn’t quite know what to expect, but we ended up being overwhelmed by the turnout for the class as well as the high caliber of work that the students produced.

We’ve included some of our favorite projects from the class below, but you can also view all the final posters at  And for those still interested in taking the class, it’s now available in self-study mode on the Skillshare site.  Thanks to Ethan, Elliott, and the entire Skillshare team for making the class possible.  We look forward to following up this introductory class with a more technically focused intermediate class in the future.

Awesome Post Guys!!
The work produced by the class is Simply Amazing and full of inspirational ideas. From the comments/feedback to the final prints, it looks like the Teachers as well as the Students profited greatly from this experience.

Thanks so much for a wonderful SkillShare class. It was a great few weeks brainstorming and getting back to sketching. Quite a fun learning experience too. All the best.
