For any poster artist, creating work for the legendary band Phish is an honor. Being asked to create our fifth poster for them was exciting enough. Making it for their annual New Year’s Eve Run, a four night concert series held at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City, was jaw dropping to say the least.

We created two color variants of the poster, each with an edition of 700. We will be selling a very limited amount of each poster in our online store starting on New Year’s Eve. Below is a process video for the design along with the original sketch and some close up shots of the actual print.

Love your guys’ work and seeing the process. My Mammoth print looks good on my wall. Once again, this Phish print is a great original idea. — P.S. are the cars going the right way?

We will be selling both posters at a random time on New Year’s Eve. At the acutal show however:

This is a message from Phish:

Tonight’s posters will go on sale at the main merch stands in MSG Plaza beginning at 4:30pm. There will also be a small amount available at the 6th Floor stand by Tower D, and the posters will be split over 4 days, so that everyone has a shot at them. Belt buckles will be available at all stands, including the main Plaza stand, starting at 4:30pm, and when they’re gone, they’re gone for all 4 days…

well im mad,,i hit add to cart when this first popped up availabilty was full red, im still sitting here with it saying adding..i opened another window and it says sold out, so i guess its really not adding it to my cart even though it says so? pretty bad way to run a cart, should at least kick you out so you can try to re-add instead of making you think its actually adding it to your cart.

I got caught in the same cycle… kept hitting the add to cart button next to the price, it would then show “Added!”, then hitting view cart it would show that nothing was added, rinse and repeat. congrats to those that were successful and thanks for the opportunity, great print!

Nice design, guys. Did you know the NYE ‘gag’ would involve Steam, or was it just a nice little coincidence?

Your process literally blows me away, I wish the video was slower tho! I want to see more of your tricks! Thanks for sharing tho, DKNG is my first stop for new inspiration.
